Luxury fashion labels offer premium products with having the best quality and price. While many people think having luxuries is all about the status quo or being elite, many people use it to experience high-end quality. Luxury fashion brands have got a cut-throat competition in terms of the latest trends and with technology emerging, things will take drastic changes. With technology, even the fashion industry has upgraded. In the early 2000s, many people thought that the luxury fashion brands lacked creativity but that was not the case. Instead, it has seen an upward trend in terms of designing. New York-based designer Karis Dowe with his innovative skills has designed outfits for some of the noteworthy fashion labels.
Making his foray in 2012, he worked as a brand director at the luxury staple Helmut Lang. Hugo Boss, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent and Off-White are some of the best luxury fashion brands with whom Dowe has closely worked with. With his designs, he has influenced many other designers in terms of creativity. The graphics, colour palettes, original fonts and garment silhouettes created by him show his creativity who has given a new meaning to fashion. Now with technology, Dowe is reshaping the luxury fashion industry. “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have already started doing wonders in terms of personalized experiences, customer feedback, chatbot and other AR and VR installation to enable consumers to be a part of it”, said Karis.
For his brand Wildphase which was launched at the start of 2020, Karis is hopeful to bridge fashion and technology together. The New York-based luxury fashion label will create a storm with its never seen before designs. “Quality and sustainability will be on a completely different level”, he added. The versatile designer for his work has earned praises from many established names from the fashion industry including Virgil Abloh, Demna Gvasalia, Heron Preston and Marcelo Burlon. He is currently experimenting with diverse designs and having technology by his side, things have become pretty much easier for this highly talented guy.
