The mindset is that ‘I only want organic growth.’

Avoiding investing in yourself because you only want ‘organic growth’ is the same thing as setting up a small store in a city and not advertising, expecting everyone to just magically be drawn to your store.
The reality is that nobody will know the store exists, and your business will fall apart. Not investing in your business online is the same; nobody will see you in the midst of all the traffic, and you’ll be losing many sales.
Trying to go organic can be even worse for the reason that it lets others define you. Essentially, you’re giving up control and giving it to everyone around you. Anyone and everyone therefore has the power to say anything they want about you, whether those words are positive or negative!
Jay Jay shares that it is much wiser to take control yourself and create the image that you want others to see. “If you want to be seen as high status, you can easily do that by investing into yourself. You can get a social media makeover and get yourself published in a few articles online. This way, nobody can make up stuff about you because the facts are clearly on the internet.”
Before investing into growing his social presence, Jay Jay says that people would often assume things about him when he would reach out to work together. “With only 5,000 followers on my Instagram, people often thought my services were not high quality and that I was just another entrepreneur just like all the other millions that are online. After investing and growing to 1 million followers, people respect me now and believe that I am worth the price of my services.”
