Graham Klemm – A story of hard work and determination

Graham Klemm is a true Country squire. He was born in NYC, educated at Prep School since 5th grade & ultimately graduating from George Washington University. Graham dabbled in Real Estate in Washington DC before taking over the reins of his family boutique real estate firm, Klemm Real Estate in Litchfield County CT. He manages this family company with his brother Peter Klemm & they have 40 seasoned agents & 5 area offices in their domain before stepping into his parents’ shoes, by assuming ownership of Klemm Real Estate.

His real estate career began in Washington DC, where hesuccessfully sold properties there before deciding to return to Litchfield County in 1998. Presently, Graham has 5 area offices around Litchfield County, giving him a wide range of coverage, even better than other firms. “My area consists of 26 charming towns and villages in the Northwest region of Connecticut. It is less than 2 hours to Manhattan, but worlds away once you are here,” he expresses. Litchfield County ishighly known for its classic villages, properties with privacy and beautiful views, clean lakes, and overall great quality of life. In Litchfield County, there are many public and private schools, golf courses, among other amenities. Graham adds: “I am now one of the top producers in Litchfield County. I am the #1 Agent EVER in Sharon, Cornwall, Norfolk & Canaan CT (according to SmartMLS 1995-2019).” To conclude, “Litchfield County attracts a terrific set of great people!”

Graham shares that the way he stands out in the field and attracts more clients is exclusively from referrals andrelationships. He claims that “a client’s referral is the best testament to his success.” Moreover, Graham owes his success to his hard work and determination, by expressing that he works 24/7. In his own words, Graham “lives and breathesreal estate.” He also thrives with challenges: “each client anddeal are different, and it keeps me engaged.”

Apart from his successful realtor career, Graham Klemm is a lover of architecture and history. “I owned an 1890s Antique for nearly 15 years, which I restored. I now live in a super modern, minimalistic home set high on a hill with 60 acres of sweeping meadows and a river.” Now living in Sharon Connecticut, with his partner (and Labradoodle), in terms of the near future, he aims to keep evolving and growing within the Estate industry. His passion goes beyond making great deals and attracting new clients, to being and an ambassador to his area and developing friendships. “Often my clients become close friends, many of my close friends are past clients. The line between friend and client is a parallel one.”

Graham is also highly involved in mentoring other realtors and helping educate on the values and the lifestyle and all that the Connecticut area has to offer. Graham is licensed in both CT and NY State.
