Nearly more than 370,000 people have viewed a video that’s gone viral on YouTube. This video shows a series of unidentified flying objects over the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, YouTube account holder – William Guy was the first one to get this video on his post. In the video there is a brief period of calm over the ocean and then suddenly 14 glowing lights starts hovering over the water. It seems they appear to come out of the blue.
When contacted William Guy, he informed that – “As per the video someone is heard saying that – ‘Look there is nothing in the sky at all’ and then all of a sudden lights starts glowing in response to which someone is again heard remarking – ‘can anybody tell me what that is?’.”
He further continued that many people in the background were heard commenting on the gleaming lights – “We’re on a ferry which is right in the middle of the ocean and there is nothing around there is no land no nothing at all.”
Amongst several viewers of this viral video some one seems to have passed a statement that he believed these flying objects were from a nearby military base.
Another viewer by the name Derrick Chennault who identified himself as a former Marine based at the 2nd Marine Air Wing in Cherry Point, N.C. in his comment mentioned that – “I am very confident and I know what those lights are as we used to regularly drop flares out of the back of our plane in the evenings for military exercises in that area. Each flare holds the power of nearly one million candles and is pretty bright. The brightness can be seen from far away and floated down slow as they hung from a parachute.”
When enquired, it was learnt the military base is approximately 125 miles west of the Outer Banks. When Fox 10 Phoenix contacted the military base their spokesperson informed and confirmed that there was no aircraft in the area from that base on the day when the video was posted.
