Grammys – Celebrity Spotting Taylor Swift’s Diamonds

You can’t think about the Grammys without Taylor Swift, and once again, here she is in 2022. After all, the Millennial superstar, who is worth an eye-bulging $400m, has sold over 200 million albums.

In her “Look What You Made Me Do” video the platinum queen of talent bathed in more than $10m in diamonds.   So extravagant it was, in fact, that it looked like she was partially buried in a mine. From Tiffany to Van Cleef & Arples, Taylor knows how to get properly decked out.

But although this is a person with over $80m in property and a jewelry collection to boot, it’s important to know that according to vogue, this young Millennial is a person who is a sustainability influencer in the way of fashion.

So how do people like Taylor know that the gemstones they adorn come from an ethical source?

Fellow Thirty-Somethings are getting married in record rates this year, so here’s how you know the lovely rocks in which you will undoubtedly be investing are ethically mined.

The answer is Sarine Technologies, which is a huge player in the diamond production business, with subsidiaries around the world and a fleet of industry-grade hardware and software used globally by the artisans who create the jewelry we so love.

Sarine offers innovative hi-tech solutions that appeal to Millennials looking for the special, sparkling stone that represents an exclusive and beautiful family future. The company uses artificial intelligence to track a stone from the place it was first mined all the way to your finger, neck or ears.

They do this with powerful scanners that use forensic-level 3D analysis of rough stones. Once an ID has been fingerprinted, each of the artisans who plan, saw, cut, polish, the gemstone, it is then scanned and uploaded to a database.

This way, everybody knows it’s the same stone, where it came from, and the chain of custody thereafter. Buyers will know that their gem was ethically and sustainably mined, as well as the rock’s beautiful journey.

When asked about her dream diamond, Maria Rais told us that it’s “obviously” mined. With a subtly mischievous smile she said, “That is the whole idea. My man better get me a real one or else he’s in the doghouse.”

On the topic of the Grammys, she confirmed what we suspected all along–it’s not just to see the artists. “Everyone loves to see what they are wearing. Their clothing, their jewelry. It’s all part of the culture.”

In addition to telling the beautiful journey from provenance, you will know, of course, if it’s a natural Earth diamond, lab-grown, or synthetic. And finally, Sarine is the new industry benchmark in grading.

The GIA 4Cs is an outdated, manual process based on the subjective interpretation of jewelers. GIA’s was never really a certification or authentication in the first place.

Sarine issues an e-grading report that provides the most accurate grading in the world, with measurements far exceeding those of GIA. The technology used by the large conglomerate is powered by artificial intelligence, and lasers detect features such as sparkle, symmetry, brilliance and fire.

Most of those who want diamonds would prefer that they come from a sustainable, natural mine. There’s something antiseptic and impersonal about the idea that something is raised in a laboratory by scientists dressed in white lab jackets.

Any genuine, historic piece of our planet’s history is indeed a very special, one-of-a-kind gift. That’s what these precious stones are all about in the first place.

“Diamonds are thought to make their long journey to the surface of the Earth with the help of volcanic activity where kimberlite magma pushes them to the surface through vents,” said Jonathan MacIntire, who himself is studying the art of cutting at a prestigious institute.

“It’s simply beyond my imagination trying to visualize that these rocks are formed one hundred miles below in the Earth’s mantle. Just being able to touch and handle one feels like a privilege.”

With high-tech solutions from companies like Sarine, Taylor Swift and her fellow stars can wear gorgeous diamond jewelry with impunity, and now you or your loved ones can, too.

A gemstone’s meaning doesn’t end with our lifetimes. It’s handed down as your legacy for many generations to come, always reminding your progeny of your story along with the precious stones journey through history.
