Justin Strong (@iamjustinstrong) was raised on success, one might say. Living in the quaint “wine county” of Prince Edward, in the most beautiful glass house that he, himself, designed and built. Justin looked up to his father and followed in his footsteps. This multimillionaire “hit gold” when he took over Strong Bros. General Contracting Ltd. from his father who founded the company back in 1992. His father, Kevin, was one of six children consisting of five brothers and one sister. Kevin Strong sold his company in York Region called Regional Combustion. Shortly after he moved to the Quinte Region, he created a heating and air conditioning company, the same one standing to this day. It evolved from a heating and air conditioning to a construction company.
At 32, Justin is involved with numerous companies such as Strong Bros General Contracting Ltd., J P Strong Enterprises Inc., Seaway Construction & Management, J P Strong Real Estate Holdings Inc., two numbered companies and his most recent Social Giveaways Inc. in light of social media’s popularity and today’s challenging times. Strong always had a vision and was eager to learn the ropes of the industry in order to become his own boss, and he did it. Two major components that all of Justin’s businesses carry are that one, he is still actively involved in the companies and two, they all continue to thrive. Two of these companies are actually multimillion-dollar companies.
Justin’s main company, Strong Bros General Contracting Ltd., is mostly laid off at this time in light of the current economic situation happening around the world. That is why Justin’s main focus as of now is his celebrity marketing campaigns which helps all parties involved. It helps businesses and personal brands grow while giving participants the chance to win some cool prizes. Future plans include creating a state-of-the-art head office, a 16,000-square-foot office filled with work spaces and document safeguarding designed rooms for his construction business.
Your mind set is extremely important when it comes to a successful business. If you don’t remain disciplined and focus on your goals, it’s not going to work out. No, it’s not easy, but yes, it is worth it. If you want your business to survive, you have to do this from the beginning; this will most likely determine the survival of your business.
With so much success, you would think, “Why doesn’t he retire?” For Justin, that’s out of the question. He’s not focused on retirement; he is focused on continuing to build his successes. He explains that he will always be an integral part of the businesses, no matter what role he may play in them in the future. Retirement is not an option right now. Justin’s main goal is to focus on building an empire, and that is exactly what he’s going to continue to do. He wants to be known for creating one of the top construction companies in the country.
Even with all his achievements, Justin never forgets to take time to help others in need. His company is very proud to sponsor numerous fundraisers such as Quinte Children’s Foundation, Hospice and plans to continue to do so. The feeling of giving back to the community is always rewarding.
