Lesiba Mothupi was born on 1997 in a small town named Polokwane, which is situated in South Africa and has spent his early days living here with his two siblings . At an young age, he had to shift to another city named Lephalale where he spent the later part of his life. “At the age of 14 years, I lived in a garage with my mom and two siblings. I was never the smartest in my class”, says Mothupi, remembering his school days. He started selling sweets and chips at the age of 14. He says smiling, “I got into entrepreneurship with the aim of making it big and give all possible comforts to my family”.
Mothupi was interested in skateboarding, but he didn’t have any financial aid to fund what interested him. “I did not have money which would take care of the expenses involved in training, so I took my hustling skills to sell my skateboarding parts to continue funding my passion”, narrates the young entrepreneur. At the age of 16, Lesiba lost his best friend, which changed his life. He started flunking school and soon he got into alcohol and weed. Lesiba remembering those days quotes, “Each second day I was so drunk that I could not remember what actually happened”. Lesiba also started selling weed at 17. He had a thinking that every black young boy has to do something illegal to get started in life. One day, his parents came to know about this and beat him black and blue, which is still strongly etched in his mind.
In the year 2018, Lesiba dropped out of varsity to feed his family. “I tried multiple investments, was scammed and left with a debt of 100k”, says Lesiba.
At the age of 21, Lesiba has seen more than any other guy of his age has ever seen, which gave him a breakthrough, resulted him to find his own company, Forex Chasers. “I came across personal development and started reading books to empower my mindset”, says Lesiba sounding confident. At the age of 23, he made his first million, months later he made another million that has helped him to clear all his debts.
Lesiba now lives in a beautiful estate with his family and his dream car Mercedes Benz A45.
