Let’s take a sneak peek at how it all began.”My journey started three years back when I uploaded a video on Face book which I wanted to be viewed only by my friends, but accidentally the settings were set to public, and the video got circulated amongst a wide audience, without my knowledge. The video had me describing a scene from a restaurant that I had observed, and to my surprise, within a short time, the video had around 5,000 comments below it and over 40,000 people had viewed it. I was totally taken aback by the kind of response it garnered, and that moment I made up my mind to go ahead and create more short videos, and the rest is history.” Chuckles Simon. Since then this young YouTube star has become one of the most favourite online personalities of millions.
He found his YouTube channel on May 25th, 2017, and uploaded his first official video, which consisted of street surveys. His videos became much popular with time, to such an extent, that Radio Hamburg credited him to be amongst the ten most important network trendsetters, making his popularity soar to newer heights. He uploads his usual random street interview videos on his YouTube channel twice a week, which are extremely popular amongst his followers till date. By the end of 2017, he signed a management contract with the Suga Agency and has worked with rappers like Kollegah, Farid Bang and Spongebozz during his stint with the media agency.
At present Simon demands a huge fan following which is more than 600,000 alone on YouTube. His podcasts on Spotify garner more than 1 million streams a month and he has more than 500,000 subscribers on his face book fan page and 550,000 subscribers on Tik Tok, making him nothing less than an online celebrity.
