Everyone is unique and special, but when we throw away our uniqueness to fit into the crowd, we lose our identity. Being unique has been the watchword of Oren, and he hasn’t faltered one bit. He is a busy student but has always found ways to promote his passion (fashion and modeling). Very few full-time students will devote their time to something other than their studies. It is important to mention that Oren is doing great in his studies and has always struck a balance between his academics and passion for fashion and modeling.
Oren didn’t quite have a glamorous childhood growing up, but things were on the average at best. He is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Midtown Manhattan. All his life, Oren lived in the same apartment with his family. At a very young age, he grew up going to one of the NYC public schools. It was at the school that he learned how to play the violin. He was later transferred to an Orthodox Jewish school. Oren went to a music high school where he primarily focused on his violin performance and grew in music skills. He once performed with the world-renown Kronos Quartet.
Oren has always been curious about life, and that curiosity birthed his interest in fashion. He has always enjoyed standing out from the crowd and never conforming to what other people do. People notice our appearance first before anything else. Then what better way to stand out than what you wear. However, he continued his music studies at the University of Buffalo. There, Oren studied Management Information Systems (MIS) and music performance. He had the opportunity to study in London in the first semester of his sophomore.
At the age of 21, he is currently in Baruch college (CUNY), where he is studying CIS and Music Performance. Irrespective of all these academic exploits, Oren still loves fashion and modeling. It is his way of helping people stand out from the rest of the people to him. He loves it when people are unique and distinguishable, and he has found a way to help them through fashion and modeling. The thing that has constantly made his love of fashion more and more is his desire to drive the force of attention and stand constantly. Even in his studies, he still finds the time to engage in freelance modeling for more than two years. He mainly collaborates with friends and colleagues, and this has helped broaden his experience and knowledge. Oren also offers digital marketing services to a fashion firm to build his expertise in the industry.
He always tries to inspire people to wear what they enjoy wearing, not necessarily because of the cost but the way they look. According to Oren, people need to understand that fashion does not always equal the value of clothing. Aside from his very inspirational fashion ideas, he is always kind to people around him. He hopes to use fashion and modeling to spread more love and inspiration.
