Shane Thompson born in Memphis, TN and currently based in Mississippi took to performing arts as a teenager. One of his friends requested him to collaborate on a song and after that there was no looking back. Shane took to music like the fish takes to the water.
Shane comes from a religious family which only listened to Christian music thus music was not a household concept for him. The singer relied on radio and church music for his knowledge. Later in life with different friends he made he got introduced to more secular music becoming a fan of pop artists including the sensations Justin Beiber and Chris Brown.
The artist’s friends play a major role in his life as they introduced him to listening to various genres, making music and singing solo and in groups. It was a friend who asked Shane to accompany him to a recording studio to make a song. This was the music session that changed everything for him. Shane fell in love with music and its world and there was no looking back after that.
Post the recording session, Shane started recording cover songs to perfect his craft. He released his first album while collaborating with his friends. They plastered the city in promotional flyers and even had over 300 flyers at his local Walmart where he worked. With the help of his friends and father, Shane today operates S.A.T. Studios and has a big space in Pearl, MS.
