Garrett Bair has always had a passion for sports and athletics. Growing up, he could tell you every player, stat or team in any major sport, and had his heart set on working in the front office of a sports team after college. While his journey took him to The Ohio State University, sports largely took a back seat in Garrett’s life as he became a pre-law major. But, after feeling out of place at college, he turned to physical fitness as a release and his passion for athletics was rekindled once again.
While exercising started as a way for Garrett to relieve stress, it quickly became an obsession. He’d originally planned to attend law school after his undergraduate years, but Garrett knew that he belonged in the fitness industry. While it was a tough decision, Garrett ultimately forewent law school in favor of a career in personal training and fitness.
Not only is the personal training industry extremely competitive, the industry’s social media competition is far more severe. Knowing this, Garrett has worked tirelessly to maintain an awe inspiring physique and grow his social media presence. While working as a trainer at local gyms, he was able to grow his audience quickly and he now totes over 200,000 followers on his page.
He’s made a career out of monetizing his social media presence, selling training packages and individual coaching, and traveling the United States as a model with various photographers. While his success was rapid, Garrett says that he’s put hours of sweat, emotion, and even tears into his craft to get to this point. He admits, “I have spent nights wide awake, close to tears because of heartbreak, dissatisfaction with my physique, and other issues that people wouldn’t dream a model deals with.”
Garrett has fallen in love with the process and the struggle, and wouldn’t trade it for anything. He says that he never wanted to fall into the trap of working a desk job every day just to look forward to the weekend. He’s never been content with an average life, and has always strived for greatness in whatever he’s done.
He has never been satisfied with an average physique, and has worked constantly to achieve an unbelievable one. He never wanted an average career, and has worked tirelessly to achieve thriving personal brand and business. Even with all he’s achieved thus far, Garrett is far from satisfied.
