Why Your Team is the Key to Success in Business and In Life With Andrea d’Agostini

Entrepreneurship is uncharted territory, and the crew you build is one of the key factors in achieving your goals. Aligning each of your staff and teammates to your vision requires clarity on your end and the right type of person on the other. Not everyone will choose to share your goal and purpose. You need to be able to determine if those around you are willing to play your game with your rules.

Your family is another level of support that has a different role in your life. Having a family and friends that support you, is key.  Sometimes life requires that you fire a staff member and this is true also when it comes to your friends, sometimes you need to fire some of them as they aren’t truly your friends. It’s heartbreaking but it’s necessary.

Thus, utilizing brand awareness and strategies and having everyone on the same page with a singular goal, to complete the mission, will lead to innovation and a successful brand as well.

Building Teams that Last

Andrea d’Agostini knows how blessed he is to have good support. You need to build a “WOW” culture for your team where each staff member is focused on spreading this effect between co-workers as well as your customers.

“The people that I have the fortune of having around me, they are my team,” stated d’Agostini. “When you can have a team that is aligned with you, that shares the games that you want to play, that makes all the difference in the world.”

Excellent service and care starts inside the organization and not just with the customers. If your team tries to “WOW” each other, you’ll have a dedicated and caring organization. It is your responsibility as team leader to build such a culture in your business. Part of having a great team is how well everybody knows how to approach their post.

“Believe in your team. If you believe in someone enough, they tend to respond and match that expectation,” d’Agostini said. “One of the best ways to grow a team is not what you can get out of them but how you can make their life better.”

From Driven Entrepreneurs to Spouses

One person who has helped d’Agostini the most in business and in life is his wife, Nicole Tabs.

“She is a force of nature, a renewable, unlimited energy source,” he said. “Having someone by your side that has the true purpose to empower and support you, is quite amazing. I have seen relationships where the husband and wife treated life as a fight, one against the other, and that was quite a sad life. Having your partner aligned with you, is truly a blessing. I couldn’t work as hard as I do without her support and love.”

Both Tabs and d’Agostini see entrepreneurship as a form of artistry. Building their brands meant utilizing their creative sides to achieve their goals. Hosting and engaging in free workshops and seminars for other entrepreneurs, he noticed that it was not only a chance to give back to fellow entrepreneurs, but a true mission to support entrepreneurship.

“Entrepreneurs are my tribe, my people. We need to support each other and do good for one another,” he said. “There is no other way we’ll be able to build a renaissance.”

Additionally, Tabs built a film company with her mother Serendipity Group and then created her own full service marketing company, Monarchy Media, in 2018. When d’Agostini joined Monarchy Media, the two were able to combine their strengths and turn it into a full-service business development brand, focusing on business and marketing strategies dedicated to help digitalize the world and scale businesses, taking small startups and scaling them past $2 million in less than 12 months.

They rapidly evolved the company into a holding company for participating brands and companies they love to accelerate their growth, and thus, building their empire. Today that includes 10 brands and over $15 million in less than 6 months.

“We believe the world needs a renaissance. Entrepreneurs are the artists that will build our future and we need enlightened minds to dream of a beautiful world,” said d’Agostini. “Our mission with all our businesses is to accelerate innovation by empowering great entrepreneurs with products that can positively impact society. Our team shares our vision and we like to describe our group as a ‘Hit Factory’ managed by Navy Seals.”

A successful team is invested in not only growing individually but together as well. Andrea and Nicole married during the pandemic in 2020 in a ceremony many defined as truly blessed and a “perfect match”.

Beyond the Board Room

Spouses who take their relationship into the boardroom can elevate one another in both environments. The success of the company depends on how their individual talents benefit and help the business grow.

While d’Agostini works on marketing and mentoring with other entrepreneurs, Tabs works her magic on the production and creative end of the business.

The model has served them well; together with Co-Founder Daniil Musatov they’ve also created Salesjet, a marketing platform and training company, in addition to other partnerships around the world. It’s clear they’ve created a team that thrives on creativity and helps lift others up to their own success.

It’s that supportive outlook that makes d’Agostini value insights from others to help him be the best in both business in life. As his spouse and business partner, Tabs is an equal force in their growth and work.

“Nicole has an incredibly entrepreneurial mind and unique abilities to lead our group.

I couldn’t do what I do without her,” he said. “I always know she has my back and we are building one of the most successful and fast growing businesses in the US and we are doing it our way.”
