Entrepreneurship got hold of Yik Chan at a very young age. Born in 1993, Yik Chan got the idea of setting up a business in the teenage itself. Yik Chan studied at the University of Hong Kong with a Science Degree in Food and Nutritional Science. He took his first step in business in the 2nd year of university life and since then he has continuously gained ground in it. After he finished university, he started multiple businesses and flourished in his entrepreneurial journey.

After initiating E-Commerce and building up a small team, he further decided to expand his team, for which, he went to Cambodia. He built another team there, but this time he hired only university students. As he himself got the idea that changed his life in his teenage, he strongly believes that teenagers are the future of our world. He was still studying while he got into the dilemma of whether to start looking for a job or start his own business.

After thinking out a lot about it, he came to the conclusion that if he becomes an employee, he will have to work for someone else’s dream by trading his time. Hence, he decided to start his own business and work towards the fulfillment of his own dreams. With this decision, He along with his fiancé Cherry Ng started their first business in 2012 at the young age of 20.

He has great faith in the potential and capabilities of teenagers and hence he trained them with the skills needed to survive their talent in the future. He let them explore the online business, gave them the option to pick the part they love, and bought them courses. He also arranges for a company trip together. Now, those teenagers are automating his company. He says, ‘Money is just a bonus when one focuses on the opportunities one provides to the youth. Entrepreneurs are the leaders of the world, to be a leader one needs to equip with a mindset to contribute to the people.’

Yik Chan believes that teenagers if trained and provided with the knowledge they need, are capable to build a new efficient future for us to live. With this thought, he started the YNC Entrepreneurs Club to guide teenagers and people of every age on how to efficiently manage their businesses, with the purpose of creating value, doing good practice, and help as many people as he can through amazing products and services.
