What started as a distant dream for a 11 year old child is now a Global venture across over 95 countries. Pride Group is a privately owned, versatile, integrated Group of Companies specializing in the execution of Service Sector Projects. The only man to make it happen is Sudendu Shah. He started out early by selling small quantities of ‘mukhwas’ at the age of 11 year, where he started learning the core principles of life. Unlike the other kids, Sudendu did not spend his childhood playing outdoors, he stepped out and looked for opportunities to explore his potential. He soon showed his excellence in sports, especially football. He started out as a football coach and a tutor. In furtherance of this interest and his leadership skills, he entered the coaching avenue and went ahead to form ‘Pride Coaching Academy’. The academy soon expanded to four more branches in a short span of two years. This was the onset of what we know as Pride Group of Companies. This moment onwards he never looked behind. This was the ascension of “Suddu” to “Sudendu Shah”. Balancing his academic life and the Pride Empire was indeed not an easy task, but that was a risk he was willing to take. He often says, “The biggest risk is not taking a risk”. Sudendu’s journey began in a small town of Solapur to International opportunities in USA and Dubai, with surely many more to come! This experience has led him to be completely aware of his strengths and weaknesses, enabling him be to strongly rely on his instincts. Who would have thought that a simple football coaching academy would serve as the first step towards a vast global entity.
Today, Pride Group of Companies caters to clients in the field of Events, Export and Import, Web & Graphic Designing, Trading, Consultancy and many more. Naturally, Just like Rome wasn’t built in a day, Pride went through dynamic changes before growing by leaps and bounds. The only constant factor was the determination and consistent hard work backed by strong and sincere work ethics. This led to joining hands with prestigious brands like INOX, Miraj, Vodafone, CNBC, Nature’s Basket, TV 18, Aditya Birla Group, Pune Cantonment Board and many more to come. And it is due to Sudendu Shah’s inspirational persona and strong leadership that the entire Pride team works with such zeal and dedication. Sudendu often says “Opportunity may knock once, but you may knock opportunity often”, but the enterprise he has founded is living proof that he applies this to his own life. Apart from being the Founder and CEO of Pride Group in India, Sudendu Shah is also the Managing Director of Al Shibel Services L.L.C., Dubai and Managing Director of Pride Group L.L.C., USA and Managing Director of Pride Verticles Ltd., UK as well as on the Advisory Board of NULEARN, India. At such young age , he has already been awarded as Times Men of the Year 2018– Young Entrepreneur award, India Icon- Most Dynamic Young Entrepreneur 2019, Indian Achiever Award- Excellence in Business Leadership 2020.
