Charlene Izere was brought up believing that to build an empire of her own would be a challenging journey, considering she never had the financial support or network to help her scale her businesses in her beginning stages.
Charlene is currently the founder of three business ventures, Melanin and Money, a resource hub for Black women walking the path of entrepreneurship, Soulful Systems, an Online Business Management Agency, and Wellness Delivered, a self-care and community care organization.
“Melanin and Money was created to help black women and provide them guidance and support in starting a business. The venture was established with the sole aim to help black women who desired to start their own business locally. The basic idea was to help those who don’t have any past experience or financial support.” Charlene shares.
As Charlene experienced major setbacks and hurdles along her journey as a black female, she didn’t want others to endure the same setbacks and challenges. Melanin and Money aims to provide the right resources, and appropriate support to these women who want to create their own place and become successful.
Soulful Systems aims to provide the ultimate experience to their clients by providing them both time and financial freedom. This venture was so successful that Charlene scaled Soulful Systems to multiple 6-figures in less than 6 months.
“You can have it all”, is one of Charlene’s favorite phrases to use not only with herself, but with her clients. Charlene is a sharp-minded and mindful woman entrepreneur who is delivering exceptional solutions for solving real-life problems.
“Who said that life was ever going to be all about happiness and sunshine? There will be days that will be filled with things that one may want to run away from or other negativities, but it is this very moment that people need to make a choice, a choice that can change their lives forever,” Charlene shares, with regards to how certain hurdles in life can often and easily shake the confidence of many.
