With the majority of people sitting at a desk and working a 9-to-5 job five days of the week, it can be an unconventional and even risky endeavor to do something outside of this realm. Despite the challenges of being an entrepreneur, Brittany Crisp, also known as “bcrispin” on social media, is someone who pursued a life that defies the status quo. Now, she’s a prominent social media model and influencer who is making more money than she ever did at her past corporate jobs, and inspiring hundreds of thousands of people while doing so.
Brittany comes from a small town lifestyle, but she has always possessed the gift of a larger than life personality. Born and raised in Exeter, New Hampshire, she often dreamed of something bigger for herself and her future. From the time she was a young girl, she had always dreamt of becoming a star model and entertainer; however, the reality of life soon pushed her dreams to the back of her mind, and she began to focus her attention on a more realistic goal. After graduating high school, she went on to earn her degree in graphic design from a college in Vermont, where she lived for a few more years following her graduation. Brittany worked diligently as a designer for seven years, but was ultimately left jobless after her contract with her previous employer came to a sudden end.
Instead of letting this difficult period discourage her, Brittany turned over a new leaf and took it upon herself to learn how to use social media as a means to generate a reliable income. What happened next was astonishing – she grew her Instagram following to almost 400,000 people in a very impressive timeframe. Currently, she leverages both her massive Instagram following and her subscribers on OnlyFans to generate a lucrative annual salary.
When Brittany began seeing how people reacted to her posts on social media, she soon realized that she wanted to keep going and grow her audience as much as she possibly could. She receives great satisfaction in helping people, so naturally she desired to motivate people and show them that anything is possible if you set your mind to achieving your goals and believe in yourself along the duration of the process. Brittany received much of her inspiration through her own journey to social media stardom from the women on the covers of Maxim magazine, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and Playboy. She has always dreamt of one day being featured on the cover of a magazine, and with a plethora of opportunities now regularly presenting themselves, her dream is beginning to look more realistic each day.
Brittany’s journey first began only a few years ago when she decided to get back into pursuing fitness and started sharing her results to Instagram. She quickly realized that she enjoyed sharing her progress with others in hopes of motivating people to love their bodies and feel confident in their own skin. Brittany has helped thousands of her followers over the past few years by showing them that it is possible to attain your dream body with consistent exercise and keeping up with nutrition.
Getting a taste of what it was like to influence people to live a healthier lifestyle and to be proud of their hard work was where Brittany first developed a true passion for social media, and ultimately this experience opened the door to the highly-desired social media lifestyle. Brittany mentioned that she was initially inspired by social media fitness icons such as Anllela Sagra, Katya Henry, Sommer Ray, and Lauren Driainfit. She loved watching how these influencers were able to help others while at the same time managed to show off their bodies and hard work through their social media content.
Brittany is constantly interacting with fans and other influencers, and she enjoys receiving and responding to feedback and questions. What started as a hobby has now become her full-time career, and through her new career she has been able to experience things she never would have imagined a few years prior. She often travels to places she once dreamed of visiting, and she now finds herself working alongside many of her former idols as well as some of her favorite brands. As impressive as her journey has been thus far, her future plans are even more inspiring. Brittany plans to use her savings from modeling to go back to business school in pursuit of her Master’s degree and starting her very own design firm.
