Meet Justin Goff The Freelance Copywriter Turned Millionaire

The shift from 9 to 5 to freelancing full time is often a challenging one. In most instances, people feel anxious because of the fear of the unknown and the fear of failure. Justin Goff is a versatile entrepreneur who understands that success is not for the fainthearted. He has established multiple businesses and solely runs them. Moreso, he has scaled all his businesses from the ground up.

We had a chat with Justin to understand his journey as a Freelance Copywriter to a millionaire.

A Bit of Background

Justin is a man who had the drive to succeed. The mounting debts motivated him to push upwards as he had already hit rock bottom. Justin was behind rent in a $250 apartment. He also had a gambling debt of $1200. This situation triggered him to set up a website where he started making sales. Although the website was ugly, he managed to make his first $149.

The success that Justin got from the website inspired him to pursue success. In 2014 he started a supplement company he scaled from $1 million to $23 million in less than three years. This success made him become a consultant to business giants such as Agora, Financial, Dan Lok, Mike Geary, 4Patriots, Natural Health Sherpa, V-Shred, and others.

Goff started with affiliate marketing. This venture quickly picked up and made three figures. After that, he teamed up with a fitness trainer and wrote an ebook dubbed “31 Day Fat Loss Cure.” Justin also made hundreds of marketing videos, such as one weird way to lose 3lbs” ads. Later on, Justin turned to freelance copywriting. When he started, he was charging $250 for a sales page. But he had such a groundbreaking success at copywriting that his charges are presently between $50,000 and $150,000.

Steps To Becoming A Millionaire

Justin is a self-taught serial entrepreneur and consultant who has worked with some of the biggest brands online, such as Golden Hippo, VShred, Dan Lok, Paleohacks, Agora Financial, etc. On the verge of moving back to live with his parents, he went from being broke to being a multimillionaire in under seven years.

Justin states that the path to success was full of challenges. “I was stubborn when starting. I didn’t ask for help. However, this stubbornness led to consistent losses. It reached a point where I decided to seek out mentors,” he says.

Mentorship became a stepping stone for Justin’s success. He connected with business leaders and sharks to learn how to overcome some of the hurdles of online entrepreneurship. Yet this versatile entrepreneur also admits that success is pure hard work. He pursued online entrepreneurship with no real experience and made some losses along the way; for instance, he taught himself how to do Facebook ads and lost much money in the beginning.

Justin worked hard to figure out Facebook ads, but in time he was earning. “It was more work for me and 20 times the revenue.” Presently, Justin has built a reputation as a Freelance copywriter and sales funnel guru. He has helped thousands of companies optimize their sales funnel resulting in highlead conversion rates. As a solo entrepreneur, Justin had to learn the challenges of keeping up with customer service. To ensure that his customers were going to get the best service, he had sold his company and continued building on his skills and that he would later use to propel his career even further.

Justin made the transition from six figures to millions through prioritizing value. He made it his passion to offer services that go beyond the clients’ expectations. This strategy turned his customers to fans, and in a short time, the existing customers brought in new customers. Audience research also played a significant role in helping Justin scale up the corporate ladder. He states that you can create content that engages them when you understand your audience and appeals to their emotions. No matter how many trends hit the digital marketing space, the content remains king.

The adage, “If you fail to plan you plan to fail” also stands true. Justin states that he has never stopped planning from the moment he decided to get out of debt. Entrepreneurship is for strategic thinkers. This means that you can make financial calculations that propel you to more success. I guess that’s why entrepreneurs like Justin are called sharks.
