Developer Michael Todd Games has just released a sequel to Electronic Super Joy. The first version was a great too, full of electronic music with 90% user reviews being extremely positive. On the other hand, its sequel, the Difficult Platformer Electronic Super Joy 2, is currently free, even though it has more levels than the original one.
The sequel has an exceptional soundtrack to drive the player forward from one check point to another. There are new abilities, like a sword that takes players forward, and an explosive jump. The players can run, double jump and smash their way through more than 55 levels. They can now murder bosses including Santa Claus who has himself started eating the reindeer. There are secret areas to be discovered too.
There is a Gold edition available too, alongside the free version. It costs the customer $13/£10.30. On top of the base level, there are 3 bonus levels, a new derpy dragon boss fight, some extra music to different levels and with it comes a complete downloadable version of the soundtrack.
The user reviews are positive till now but best way would be to always check out the free version first and then buy the gold edition.
