They call him Superman Sylve

Both professional and amateur, boxing is one of the oldest sports played worldwide. The sport is known for its vicious style. Throwing punches at your opponents inside the ring does require some courage and being able to come out as a winner requires superpowers. And if that’s true, ten times a winner in amateur boxing and two times in professional matches, so far Ashton Sylve, with his killer instincts, sure is on his way to becoming the Superman of the boxing ring.

Ashton Sylve, also known as  “H2O” for his unquestionable moves and his fluid fighting style. He started training from a young age and being able to realise his passion at the very small age of 6 is what has made him, he is already successful in his teenage years. His dad, Ivan Sylve, has played a major role in career. He has trained Ashton hard for the ring right beside teaching him to stay humble outside the ring. Even with offers worth millions are rounding up, Ivan wants Ashton to stay focused on his goal. He believes one day the right offer will present itself and that should be when Ashton should seize the opportunity. 

Sometimes fortune favours the brave and 3x-Super-Bowl champ Willie McGinest who is notably a legend, is also behind Ashton. With his assistance Sylve’s career had a great kick start. He finally gained recognition in an elite international competition which marked his victorious debut in professional boxing in 2017. Sal Jobe, Actor turned famous sports agent and Oli Ward, who runs the global agency First Access Sports are his advisors. In a certain media interview, they admitted, though the pandemic affected lots of things, one thing it did not affect was Sylve’s fan following. His fans have stuck beside him since a long time not just by luck, but because Sylve deserves it. He is true to his work and is the most dedicated teenage boxer of his time. 

His recent triumphant victory in a professional fight in Mexico against a 22 year old opponent was so spectacular that big names like Floyd Mayweather and Snoop Dogg are thoroughly impressed. “Ashton has a killer instinct,” McGinest said. “He’s so humble and quiet, but once he gets in the ring he flips that switch. I was talking to Mike Tyson the other day about that mentality. When you’re in the arena, or in the cage with tigers, you have to become something different in order to survive.”  Ashton is the kind of fighter whose greed for betterment never ends. Even after winning the fight he was not satisfied and left the ring with a promise of fighting better the next time to his fans. 

Looking at Sylve, we can easily say he is the future of boxing. He seems to be unstoppable in his quest to conquer the world of boxing. An inspiration and a role model at such a young age, Sylve is not just a winner inside the ring, but is also winning hearts around the globe.
