Myra Fordham Is Australia’s #1 Trauma Coach Who Has Risen Above Her Crippling And Traumatic Past

Trauma creates emotional wounds that can be highly debilitating, stemming from emotional, psychological, financial, sexual, or physical abuse. No matter the type of abuse, they all have one thing in common: They leave permanent scars on the victim’s life, affecting how they feel about themselves.

Myra Fordham is the founder of Myra Fordham Coaching and is Australia’s #1 Trauma Coach for women. As a survivor of domestic abuse, she drew a line in the sand and committed to healing for life one day. She decided to no longer be a victim of her past and no longer bound by pain.

Back in 2016 when she suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of being punched in the head by her boyfriend at the time, who became infuriated after seeing a text message on her phone. She spent 11 days in an induced coma following this incident, followed by brain surgery. And weeks in hospital for rehabilitation.

Now, Myra earns 5-figures a month as a trauma coach and, in recent months, has expanded her clientele to serve men. She also shares, “In the past three months, I’ve become an international best-selling author on Amazon, invested in my business and personal development, completed my Certificate III in Business, and healed generational and genealogical trauma.”

For some people, their trauma is so severe that it affects every aspect of their lives for years to come, or even for the rest of their lives.

Myra Fordham found the strength she needed to conquer the pain of her past. Throughout her rehabilitation and healing process, she overcame suicide, anxiety, and depression. She also had to learn how to walk and talk again and says, “I felt broken, like a baby, and had to be pushed around in a wheelchair. To heal from this traumatic incident, I have worked hard to heal my genealogical trauma and unlearn my toxic behavioral traits.”

Often, our minds create obstacles in our path that hinder us from reaching our highest potential.

Myra was sure that she would not remain a victim of her past, sharing, “I learned that I didn’t have to be a victim of my past and that I didn’t have to stay in an abusive, toxic, unhealthy relationship. Despite all the pain my trauma and child abuse caused me, I learned that I needed to go through it all so I could go on to reach my higher purpose in life.”

Myra Fordham is also an International Best Selling Author in sexual domestic abuse. The book is titled “Hear Her Roar: Successful Women Who Experienced Domestic Abuse.” She also emphasizes that when looking for a coach, ensure that they have overcome their hurdles and challenges in life, as it shows they are competent enough to help you through yours.
