Dr. Moises issa was born in Nicaragua and immigrated to the United States in 1980. He went to high school in Miami and attended florida state university. He then attended Ross medical school. Then specialized in internal medicine with a sub specialty in geriatrics.
In 2001 Dr. issa returNed to South Florida. At that time he started working in primary care managing his risk business and hospitals. Dr. Issa also worked in the emergency room at Cedars hospital in Miami. In 2004. He bought Dr. Agostinelli office and started his own risk business.
After buying the office in 2004. Dr. Issa grew the business to 17 offices, one pharmacy, one wound care, a transportation company and a research company. He sold it to Cano Health in 2020.
Dr. Issa is still very involved in medicine. He does a morning show on Wednesday mornings ask my doctor in Spanish for Iheart Radio and Enrique Santos. He still has a group of VIPs that he takes care as patients. He’s also involved in clinical research managing 10 studies right now.
Dr. Issa also opened up in 2020 a daycare for for kids with medical complex issues. Currently runs three PPEC‘s in South Florida.
Dr. Issa would like to continue research and the PPEC‘s because that has the biggest impact in the community. At some point next year Dr. Issa would also like to return to office based primary care.
Dr. Issa has been board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics.
He grew his office from 500 patients to 100,000 patients and servicing three counties in south Florida.
Dr. Issa serves at the American red cross Board of Directors. He also serves as a board of Director for Florida State University boosters. He is also a clinical assistant professor for Florida State University school of medicine.
Dr. issa is involved in several medical projects and is very involved in the community
Dr. issa has 4 kids. His oldest daughter is a teacher. His son attended Notre Dame and is now in finance, Camille currently attending wake forest and is considering Law school.
