Sierra Pacific Windows Acquires Assets of Semco Windows and Doors

Sierra Pacific Windows is one of the most significant Windows and doors manufacturers in the US, based in California. Recently the company reached a decision to acquire the assets of Semco Industries. Semco industries was a door and windows manufacturing company that went out of business in 2019. The Semling family ran the company for three generations. However, according to the Windows and Doors Experts in Mississauga, it stopped making a profit and closed up in 2019. Sierra Pacific Windows saw the opportunity to step in and acquire their lovely Wisconsin property.

Along with the assets of Semco, Sierra Windows acquired an additional 275,000 square foot Merrill, Wisconsin facility, and equipment. Space and facilities will help Sierra Windows expand its production.

President Tom Takach is happy that the company now has some space. Along with the 1.5 million square feet space, now this addition will help the company manufacturer more. He also said how the purchase of the Semco Property would ” pave the way for some much-needed additional production capacity in both our wood and vinyl product lines.”

The Sierra Pacific Windows is also a family-owned company like Semco was. But they are a forest-based company. It means they have their own land of forests, which they can use to build windows and doors of wood and vinyl. It means the company owns the forest land and controls the manufacturing as well as the distribution of the goods.

The company is based in California, and it deals with 2 million acres of land. With the addition of the facilities of Semco, the company will expand its reach and production. The wooden windows and doors manufacturing company will probably see success.
