Things To Do In Charleston During The Coronavirus

The pandemic had forced many of us indoors. The government had announced a nationwide lockdown in March. But after that, things are starting to get back to normal. Even though the virus is still around, people are getting outdoors and doing things. However, they are following social distancing rules to be safe. If you are in Charleston right now, here are a few things you can do.

In North Charleston, the Firefly Distillery is introducing a fall socially distant concert series every Saturday. One can enjoy food and cocktails while picking a socially distant spot from others and enjoying live evening concerts. You can also look for some of the best places to stay in Charleston and enjoy the surroundings at your convenience.

It is a great way to spend the weekend rather than staying indoors. As the event is socially distant, and one can enjoy the concert without much fuss, it is an excellent alternative to staying home on the weekends.

Another way to spend the evening is to go to Bend. It is a 20-acre venue on the banks of the Ashley River, and the place is hosting series of fall concerts in partnership with the Charleston Music Hall. The attendees are encouraged to bring their own food, and blanket, and chairs and enjoy the day at the Bend. Social distancing protocols are followed here, as people maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance. The upcoming performances are from the likes of Shovels and Rope, Susto, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and tributes to both Aretha Franklin and the music of Motown.

At Mt Pleasant, the Boone Hall is making the most it can of the Halloween season during the Coronavirus. It has made some changes in its rules to stick with local and CDC guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. There are three popular events that the Boone Hall has designed – Maximum Security (a prison-themed haunted adventure), Tiny’s Toy Factory (a spooky, clown-filled experience), and Scary Tales: The Final Chapter (a nightmare carriage ride in the woods). The tickets to these places are limited, and Boone Hall is following sanitization rules and checking temperatures regularly.
